An illustration is an idea that germinates, then tests, sketches, line work, color... But then, how did I come up with these initial ideas?
You may have noticed that my logo features a blue butterfly; this represents the butterfly effect : small actions and changes can have a huge impact. (For gamers, this might remind you of the series Life is Strange , or Detroit: Become Human !)
The butterfly effect is symbolic for me, both in my art and in my life, and I find it fascinating to consider how seemingly insignificant decisions could have had such a profound impact on my choices. And if I'm talking about this, it's of course connected to my illustrations; each one is born from an emotion stemming from a choice, a decision. My posters carry memories, things I've experienced; they have a story, an anecdote.
It all starts… with a trip
My illustrations often take root in my walks, my travels, and memories shared with my loved ones.
I remember a trip to Nice in 2019 – I was deeply moved by the city's colors during the golden hour . The shimmering sea, the golden sky... I felt a strong desire to convey all of that and represent it as I experienced it. This idea took root, stayed with me, and today, I'm sharing it with you.
For my city collection, I depict places that have left a mark on me, places I remember; for example, the mural on the Saint-Pierre bridge in Toulouse , where we had many picnics, discussions, and shared moments with my friends. My background in architecture has also made me more aware of the buildings and monuments that surround us; hence the depiction of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca , or the famous hotel in Annaba.
Ideas become sketches
Once back in my studio , I begin to translate this memory into a drawing .
I use my iPad and Procreate to create the initial sketches. I even wrote a short article about my favorite tools and my process! It's at this stage that I search for THE composition that will reflect what I felt on location .
I also draw inspiration from the photos I've taken , while keeping in mind the vibrant colors that will be highlighted. My line work is also one of my strengths; I prefer to emphasize it rather than using flat colors.
The magic of colors
Colors are at the heart of my universe.
I spend a lot of time choosing my tones : I want it to be both soft, yet sunny and vibrant.
I like to mix warm and bright hues , bold contrasts , to create a particular atmosphere.
My palette is sunny and joyful; I like highly saturated colors - I want each illustration to brighten up your home.
From screen to paper

Once the illustration is finalized, I carefully prepare it for printing .
I choose to work with thick, matte , high - quality paper .
Each print is then lovingly hand- packed , ready to go to its new home . 🫶
Behind each illustration lies a story .
A walk, a light, an emotion… that I try to bring to life through my drawings.
And if you hang one of my posters in your home, then somewhere , a little piece of this journey continues. 🧡
